Firemen set to strut

Rick Cruser (left) and Pete Nini of Princeton Engine Co No. 1 march up Nassau Street in 1983’s Firemen’s Parade. The 1984 parade will begin at 7p.m. Friday at the Chestnut Street firehouse and will move down Nassau Street to Borough Hall. Princeton’s fire companies will form there for inspection, presentation of awards, and a memorial to past firemen. There will also be an award for the best appearing apparatus. This year’s parade will feature Engine 612, the recently-purchased mini-pumper.
