Lots of Action
But No Fire. Township police and firemen responded to three fire calls last week but in each there was no damage.
At 2:31 Saturday afternoon, police responded to a call from a Snowden Lane home, but when it was discovered that 1 smoke in the house was due to an oil burner back-up, the 1 alarm was cancelled.
Later, at 7:04 p in., Ptl. David Funk and two fire units responded to a fire call at the U-Wash in the Princeton Shopping Center. Someone, police said, had set off a smoke bomb in the premises.. There was no fire.
Sunday afternoon at 3:42, police and one piece of fire apparatus responded to a brush fire off Red Hill Road. Again, police report no apparent damage.
