Merchant aids the Fire Department

Henry Landau, center, is presented a plaque by William Rodweller, left, and Ray Wadsworth, Fire Chief, in appreciation for his 1983 gift to the department. Visible at the chief’s back is the connector with Mr. Landau’s name inscribed on it that permits a bigger hose connection and enables the pumper to pump more water at a distance from the hydrant to which it is connected.
