March 1977 The meat cases and deli counters of most supermarkets in the area are just about bare as the meat cutters union continues its strike.

Princeton University clinches its second consecutive Ivy League basketball championship. 

A sewer field owned by Princeton Borough which is located in Princeton Township will remain on the town-ship’s tax roles, despite a request by the borough to have it made tax-exempt.

A committee is formed to consider future plans for relocating one of the three fire companies serving Princeton Borough and Township. All three are now located in the borough.
