Fifty Years Ago: Movie Theaters

FIFTY YEARS AGO, September, 1934

The Borough Council is asked to defray a deficit of $129 inclined in operation of playgrounds this summer. The total budget for the four playgrounds was $481.


A new incinerator to serve Princeton Borough, Township and University is ready for operation.


Motion picture theaters are notified that state law requires them to display upon the screen a diagram indicating fire exits. The Arcade and Garden theaters, which alternated in closing for vacations during the slow summer months, are now open for the season.
