For many years three volunteer fire companies have been participating in the Fete, providing fun and safety for all. The Princeton Junction Volunteer Fire Company #1 stands by all day Saturday for the Fete and all Friday evening for the dance to provide emergency fire protection. The Princeton Hook and Ladder Company of Harrison Street gives the children Fire Engine Rides around the Fete field all day. The Princeton Engine Company #1 of Chestnut Street makes several trips to the field to bring water to various activities. The Fete Committee is most appreciative of this long unheralded support of the Fete and applauds the firemen for their dedication and commitment to the Medical Center and the community.
