Fire, Police Depts. Thanked

To the Editor of Town Topics :

Our belated but very sincere thanks to Chief Ralph Hulit Jr. and the Volunteer Firemen who coped under his direction with a serious fire at our home 90 Westcott Road on January 28. My thanks also to Chief Carnevale and members of the Borough Police Department for their careful surveillance of this home during periods of our absence. The home is now occupied as we cope with the problems of restoration.

There is a community spirit alive in Princeton typified by the momentum of volunteer interest, for which we residents should by continuously grateful. Fortunately, thanks to a recent (and providential) installation of smoke alarms, no life was lost or injury sustained in our fire.
