FIREHOUSE ENTRY TOWER

FIREHOUSE ENTRY TOWER: This drawing by Fulmer & Wolfe, architect of the new firehouse, shows the four bays for firetrucks and the entry tower that links the social areas within the wing at the left with the engine bays and work areas to the right. The second floor of the entry tower will contain the radio dispatch room, and the projecting windows are designed to provide views up and down Witherspoon Street and into the engine bays to help the dispatcher guide the fire trucks safely onto the street.
