Carrying Coals…

Washing down Carnegie Lake may seem like taking coals to Newcastle but it was all part of a practice exercise between Princeton Hook and Ladder and the Rocky Hill Fire Company. Rocky Hill firemen (not shown) were getting a lesson in supplying the cherry picker with water. (Stuart Crump Jr. photo)
