Suspicious Fire

A fire of suspicious nature erupted Tuesday night at Rosedale Mills and is being investigated by the arson task force of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office, according to Princeton Fire Chief William Rodweller. Above. Princeton firefighters looked through the ashes after fighting the flames for 30 minutes. The blaze began under a storage trailer and spread to an adjacent shed, igniting straw and hay along its path. Also lost were heaters and heating supplies, according to a spokesman for the store, located at the comer of Alexander and Faculty roads. A damage estimate was not available. Chief Rodweller said he was unable to determine how the fire started and sent the debris to arson specialists for analysis.
