WATERING THE GRASS, A LITTLE TOO LATE

Members of the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Saturday afternoon on Quaker Road. According to Township Police, a patch of brush 150 meters by 80 meters across from Squatter’s Grove on the west side of Quaker Road was burned in the fire. The cause of the fire was unknown, and no damage was done to any property other than the land itself, which belongs to the Institute for Advanced Study. Quaker Road was closed from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
