Accident scene

A Princeton fireman watches a car that overturned in an accident Monday on Rosedale Road. Pamela Kirschner, 17, of Pine Knoll Drive, Lawrence Township, was listed in stable condition at the Medical Center at Princeton suffering from a leg fracture following the midday accident, police and hospital spokespersons said. Ms. Kirschner was traveling westbound on Rosedale Road near Rosedale Lane at 12:34 p.m. when she looked down into the interior of her 1986 Toyota, according to Princeton Township police Sgt. Mario Musso. As a result, her car drifted, hit the curb, and traveled along a bike path 63 feet before striking a stone and concrete pillar, he said. The car then turned over, Sgt. Musso said. Two wreckers were dispatched to the scene to turn the car upright and a firetruck from Princeton Engine Co. No. 1 responded to wash gasoline from the street, he said. Sgt. Musso said the investigation is continuing.
