Disaster Ready

Members of area first aid and rescue squads and fire companies responded on Sunday to the Sarnoff Research Center to handle a disaster in the making — but only a make-believe disaster. The rescuers, like the members of the Princeton Junction fire company seen above, took care of their own members who were overcome by hysterical victims. At right a victim, played by a Ft. Dix soldier, was subdued by rescuers. The rescuers had to cope with victims who had been contaminated by radioactivity as well as those who had been physically injured.
