Small Fire Is Controlled In Drumthwacket’s Roof

Drumthwacket the official governor’s residence, was the scene of a small fire on October 8. Painters had been using a torch to burn paint away in an area near the mansion’s roof when some old wood ignited.

Firefighters cut a three-foot-wide hole in the roof to gain access and quickly controlled the small fire.
