Vincent Ross

Vincent L. Ross Sr., 73, of 12 Pelham St., died Monday at Princeton Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Princeton, he retired from Henry R. Fell Co. of Trenton in 1969 after 25 years as a sheet metal worker.

He was an active member of Princeton Hook and Ladder Co. and would have receive his 50 year pin at ceremonies this June. He was a past lieutenant in the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad, and a charter member of the Twin W First Aid Squad in West Windsor.

He is survived by a son, Vincent L. Jr. of Skillman; a daughter Mrs. Betty J. Buchanan of Hamilton Township; five brothers, Gene of Lawrenceville, John Gilbert and Frank of Trenton, and Albert of Lavallette; four sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Perpetua of Princeton, Mrs. Mary Scopa, Miss Josephine Ross and Miss Helen Ross, all of Trenton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 16 at 2p.m. at the Mather Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave. Interment will be in Princeton Cemetery. Friends may call between 7 and 9p.m. on Thursday April 15. Contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
